- Optics: Optics is a pivotal field with diverse applications, spanning imaging, communication, microscopy, astronomy, and more. One crucial facet of optics is the study of interference, which involves the superposition of two or more light waves. Our focus lies in developing straightforward interferometric techniques for measuring nanometric deformations of solid/liquid interfaces without relying on external electronic systems. Additionally, we have proposed a compact interferometric technique utilizing twisted light, which carries angular momentum and enables the detection of picometer-scale displacements.
